The Skud Jou Vleis Braai Competition is a community initiative started by Karin Wilkens, and the main goal behind the initiative is to support the President Kruger Children’s Home – while also having a bit of fun on the day! All funds raised on the day will go to the children’s home for a specific project.

The first Braai Competition took place in 2023 and was a huge success and incredibly fun, with Crazy Werrie as the Master of Ceremonies. This year, however, we plan to go much bigger and have even more fun — to raise more funds for the children’s home, but also to spend an unforgettable day with the children. 

 So sign up your team for the braai competition today, or simply come and join us on the 13th of September 2025 at Adelaars Restaurant & Venue for an unforgettable day full of fun and entertainment! There will be artists, games with silly prizes, plenty to eat and drink, and so much more.
