  1. 01 'n Span bestaan uit 'n maksimum van 4 persone. Die inskrywingsfooi is R500.00 per span. A team consists of a maximum of 4 people. The entry fee is R500.00 per team.
  2. 02 Spanne moet alles self voorsien: braaier, gazebo, toerusting en bestanddele. Vleis sal deur die organiseerders voorsien word. Teams must provide everything themselves: braai, gazebo, equipment and ingredients. Meat will be provided by the organisers.
  3. 03 Slegs oop vuurbraaiers en Webers (sonder deksel) word toegelaat. Jy kan hout, brikette of houtskool gebruik. Geen gas- of rotisserie-braaie nie. Only open fire braais and Webers (without lid) are permitted. You may use wood, briquettes or charcoal. No gas or rotisserie braais.
  4. 04 Geen bykomende hulp buite die amptelike spanlede word toegelaat nie. No additional help outside of the official team members is permitted.
  5. 05 Geen disse of voorbereidings mag vooraf by die huis gedoen word nie. Alles moet op die dag en op die terrein voorberei word. No dishes or preparations may be done beforehand at home. Everything must be prepared on the day and on the premises.
  6. 06 Elke span kry 'n 3Γ—3 meter braai kamp wat vooraf gemerk sal wees. Ondersteuners is welkom om agter die braai kamp te kuier. Each team receives a 3Γ—3 metre braai camp that will be marked in advance. Supporters are welcome to visit behind the braai camp.
  7. 07 Spanne mag hul stalletjies opstel tussen 05:30 en 08:00. Geen opstelling na 08:00 nie. Teams may set up their stalls between 05:30 and 08:00. No setup after 08:00.
  8. 08 Jy is welkom om 'n koelboks met jou eie drankies te bring. Daar is egter 'n R200 koelboks-kurkfooi per drank-koelboks. You are welcome to bring a cooler box with your own drinks. However, there is a R200 cooler box corkage fee per drinks cooler box.
  9. 09 Elke span moet 'n gedrukte spyskaart en 'n lys van bestanddele en metodes hΓͺ. Each team must have a printed menu and a list of ingredients and methods.
  10. 10 Beoordeelings tye sal op die dag van die kompetisie met elke span gekommunikeer word. Judging times will be communicated with each team on the day of the competition.
  11. 11 Elke gereg moet op sy eie bord opgedien en persoonlik na die beoordelaars geneem word. Geen platter-formaat nie. Each dish must be served on its own plate and personally taken to the judges. No platter format.
  12. 12 Die beoordelaars se besluit is finaal. The judges' decision is final.
