Mandatory parental supervision. Parent stands alongside the child at the braai at all times.

Years
Selfstandige kategorie. Kinders kompeteer op hul eie vir die titel van beste kinder-braaier.
Independent category. Kids compete on their own for the title of best junior braai master.

General Rules
- 01 Alle deelnemers moet betyds registreer voor die kompetisie begin. All participants must register on time before the competition begins.
- 02 Kinders moet veilig en verantwoordelik rondom die braai optree. Children must act safely and responsibly around the braai at all times.
- 03 Ouerlike toesig is verpligtend vir kinders tussen 5 en 7 jaar. Parental supervision is mandatory for children between 5 and 7 years old.
- 04 Geen eie bestanddele of toerusting mag ingebring word nie, tensy vooraf deur die organiseerders goedgekeur. No personal ingredients or equipment may be brought in, unless approved in advance by the organisers.
- 05 Deelnemers moet hul eie werksarea netjies hou gedurende en na die kompetisie. Participants must keep their work area neat and tidy during and after the competition.
- 06 Die beoordelaars se beslissing is finaal. The judges' decision is final.
- 07 Die fokus van die kompetisie is pret, kreatiwiteit en deelname. Elke kind is 'n wenner! The focus of the competition is fun, creativity and participation. Every child is a winner!
